The next six months must become a period of maximum focus and stabilization for the country’s functioning. Ukraine has several priority tasks ahead, according to a post by Davyd Arakhamia and a statement by Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Davyd Arakhamia said that the meeting with the head of state was attended by Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk, First Deputy Speaker Oleksandr Korniienko, Presidential Office chief Kyrylo Budanov, and Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko.

According to the faction leader, the participants held a "frank" discussion about the war, economic challenges, and the state’s main task for the near future.

"Everyone understands that the next six months must become a period of maximum concentration and stabilization of the country’s functioning. Our priority is to ensure the resilience of state institutions, support for the army, timely payments to citizens, and the functioning of the energy sector, economy, and local self-government," he noted.

Arakhamia added that the diplomatic track was also discussed separately. He stated that Ukraine needs "real movement toward peace."

"Not a freezing of the war, but the creation of conditions to save lives, strengthen international support, and increase pressure on the aggressor state. This requires a strong state position, unity within the country, and responsible work from all branches of government," he stressed.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during the meeting with the prime minister and lawmakers from the mono-majority faction, the priorities for the near future were discussed.

"And I thank everyone in the government, parliament, regional and local authorities, and communities who are truly working for Ukrainians and for their state," the president said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy held talks with the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. According to him, by the end of the week, there could be an "update" regarding the readiness of the United States for negotiations with Russia.

Recently, Presidential Office adviser Mykhailo Podolyak suggested that the active phase of the war in Ukraine could end as early as this autumn if the aggressor country’s summer offensive fails.
