MoD discusses weapons production for Ukraine with Finnish companies

Ukraine and Finland strengthen cooperation in the defense sector. Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov discussed ammunition and military equipment production with Finnish companies, according to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"I held substantive negotiations with representatives of leading Finnish defense and technology companies. The focus was on ammunition production, the development of satellite communication and telecommunications systems, armored vehicles, and strengthening maritime security," the minister explained.
According to Umerov, Finland has valuable experience in creating effective defense solutions and is a leader in technological innovation.
"Our partnership opens new opportunities to strengthen the Ukrainian army with modern weapons and equipment. I am grateful to Finnish companies for their openness to cooperation. We invite them to Ukraine — we are ready to invest in expanding production capacities to provide our soldiers with the necessary equipment," he concluded.
