On the night of July 3, Russian units launched missiles at Kryvyi Rih. Residential buildings in the city were damaged, and there are wounded, according to a statement by the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.
According to the official, seven people have been affected so far. Fortunately, no one sustained critical injuries, but three residents had to be taken to the hospital. Doctors are currently providing them with all the necessary assistance.
Russian units launched the missile strike at a densely built-up urban area. The missiles hit between multi-story residential buildings.
As a result of the attack, fires broke out in residential buildings. Thanks to the professional actions of the city's rescuers, the fires have already been extinguished, but emergency rescue operations are continuing at the site.
The residents' homes sustained extensive damage: shattered windows, destroyed balconies, and utility workers had to quickly shut off the gas and water.
An operational headquarters has already been deployed at the attack site. All necessary construction materials are also being delivered to the affected homes, and the residents themselves will receive all necessary assistance from the city authorities.
What other consequences of Russian attacks on Ukraine are there
Rescuers are still clearing the rubble after yesterday's large-scale missile strike by Russia on Kyiv. The death toll has now risen to 27 people. Parallel to the rising death toll, the number of injured civilians who sustained injuries of varying severity also continues to grow.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, an entire family was affected by a Russian guided bomb strike. The Russians killed a 7-year-old girl and wounded four other people.
Russian units also attacked a Nova Poshta terminal in Zaporizhzhia on July 2.
