Russian forces once again attacked the Odesa region with drones overnight on March 26. The port infrastructure and energy facilities were hit in the UAV strike, according to the Facebook page of the Izmail District State Administration.

“The airspace is now clear. The enemy has again attacked the port and energy infrastructure of the Izmail district,” the statement said.

It added that damage was recorded in Izmail and the Vylkivska urban community.

Attack on the Odesa region

Despite a decrease in the frequency of large-scale attacks across Ukraine, Russia continues to strike the Odesa region with drones almost every night. Just a few days ago, a drone destroyed a residential building in the south of the region, while six neighboring houses sustained damage.

We also reported that on the night of March 22, Russians struck the suburbs of Odesa. Residential buildings and port infrastructure were attacked.

Furthermore, on the night of March 20, a port in the Odesa region was also hit by Russian forces. The attack damaged two civilian commercial vessels sailing under the flags of Palau and Barbados.
