On the night of March 18, Russian forces attacked the Odesa region with strike drones. A critical infrastructure facility and some equipment were damaged, according to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

"Last night, Russians attacked the Odesa region with strike drones, damaging a critical infrastructure facility and some equipment," Kiper says.

According to him, there were no casualties as a result of the Russian attack.

The fire that broke out at the site was quickly extinguished by rescue workers. Work to address the aftermath is ongoing.

Russian strikes on Ukraine

On the night of March 18, Russia launched a new air attack on Ukraine, firing 147 drones from 6 directions. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down most of the Russian targets.

At the same time, 15 strike drones were recorded hitting 12 locations, and debris from downed drones fell in three additional locations.

And on the night of March 17, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with nearly 200 drones. Most of the Russian targets were eliminated by Ukrainian air defense forces.

In particular, Russian troops attacked southern Ukraine. Russian strikes damaged the port infrastructure and caused fires.

Russia also attacked the Sumy region, and Zaporizhzhia was also under fire. A Russian strike hit near one of the terminals of a logistics operator. Seven employees were at work during the Russian attack. 4 suffered concussions, and three others sustained cuts to the head and body.
