Some companies still not sanctioned
According to the HUR, more than half of the companies listed are still not subject to sanctions by any of the countries in the sanctions coalition, which allows them to obtain technology, components, and funding.
Call to increase sanctions pressure
Ukrainian intelligence emphasizes the need to increase sanctions pressure and include these companies in the blacklists of responsible businesses, financial institutions, and export control systems.
The agency stresses that the experience gained by the Russian military-industrial complex during the war against Ukraine could be used in future conflicts involving Russia and its allies.
In early January, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed sanctions against 95 individuals and 70 legal entities, most of whom are citizens or residents of Russia.
The restrictive measures apply to individuals and companies involved in fulfilling Russian state defense orders and the activities of its defense-industrial complex. In particular, this concerns enterprises and their managers that manufacture and supply products for the Russian defense-industrial complex and security forces in the fields of communications, electronic warfare, and microelectronics.
Also, on the eve of the announcement, Zelenskyy introduced new sanctions against companies involved in the production of Russian missiles and drones, as well as against a number of structures in the Russian financial sector.
