Over the past week, there have been massive attacks on the enemy's military digital infrastructure. The financial sector, involved in supporting the war against Ukraine, was also targeted, according to Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"We cannot confirm or deny this, but it will certainly continue. Over the past week, there have indeed been massive attacks on the enemy's military digital cyberinfrastructure. It's important to understand that this involves the financial sector as well as other cyber sectors of the adversary involved in financing and supporting the genocidal war against Ukrainians," said Yusov.

According to the Defense Intelligence representative, several financial institutions and the Central Bank of Russia were unable to restore their services and systems as of yesterday. There is also information about data leaks that cyber specialists will be able to examine and use for relevant purposes.

"Clearly, the enemy needs to understand on all fronts, including cyberspace, that there will be retaliation and consequences for their aggression against Ukraine," he added.

Cyberattacks on Russia

According to sources from RBC-Ukraine within the intelligence agencies, over the past week, Ukrainian intelligence has conducted a large-scale cyberattack against Russia's financial sector and government resources. The operation successfully targeted critical infrastructure and gained access to a significant amount of confidential data.

It is worth noting that this is not the only cyberattack against the enemy. For example, Ukrainian intelligence recently carried out a cyberattack on nearly a hundred Russian websites.

Additionally, several companies in Russia that support the war against Ukraine were also targeted.
