On August 28, Ukrainian intelligence operatives destroyed the infrastructure of the key Tver railway station on Russian territory, according to the sources in Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR).

As the sources reported, the attack on the station took place around 5 a.m. on August 28. As seen in the obtained video, explosives were planted under railway tankers that were on the tracks and apparently filled with fuel.

Seconds later, a powerful blast occurred through the remote detonation of the charge. The tankers caught fire, with the flames spreading across the entire railway station.

A HUR source said the strike on the Tver hub station was part of a broader effort to destroy Russia’s logistics capabilities in supplying its forces with fuel, ammunition, and personnel.

Other HUR operations

On the night of August 17, drones of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence struck the infrastructure of the Liski junction railway station in Russia’s Voronezh region.

On the morning of August 8, in the settlement of Afipsky, Krasnodar region, a HUR operation targeted a military unit of Russia’s 90th Air Defense Missile Brigade, killing at least 12 soldiers.

HUR also disrupted the operations of one of Russia’s largest drone manufacturers.

And in June, HUR strike drones hit storage facilities for rocket fuel and lubricants at the 1061st Russian logistics center in Bryansk. Four explosions triggered a fire at the oil depot.
