Ukraine's intel attacks Russian air defense missile brigade in Krasnodar Krai - Sources

On the morning of August 8, in the urban-type settlement of Afipsky, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, a military unit of the 90th Air Defense Missile Brigade was attacked as a result of an operation by the Defense Intelligence (HUR). At least 12 soldiers were eliminated, according to sources in Ukrainian intelligence.
According to sources, two explosions occurred near the checkpoint of the military unit, resulting in the elimination of at least 12 Russian servicemen, dozens of soldiers wounded, and equipment destroyed.
Local media and social media pages immediately reported two explosions in the urban-type settlement of Afipsky, while local security services cordoned off the area and imposed an anti-terrorist operation regime.
At the scene, there was a concentration of ambulances and emergency and special service vehicles.

At the same time, to conceal the fact of the sabotage on the territory of the military unit, information was spread in the Russian information space claiming that the cause of the explosion was allegedly a malfunctioning gas-cylinder equipment of a vehicle.
Meanwhile, the FSB is trying to remove mentions of the incident from the media and social networks.
Sources in HUR note that the 90th air defense missile brigade, which was attacked as a result of the special operation, is involved in Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia directions.
Operations of the Defense Intelligence (HUR)
Recently, cyber specialists of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence conducted a large-scale special operation against the occupation authorities in Crimea.
HUR also paralyzed the operations of one of the largest drone manufacturers in Russia.
Earlier, the HUR cyber corps attacked the network infrastructure of Gazprom, which is involved in supporting Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.
