Ukraine strictly adheres to the agreement on halting strikes on energy facilities. All fire damage is inflicted exclusively on the enemy's military targets, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

According to the General Staff, the Russian Ministry of Defense continues to spread false information about allegedly Ukrainian strikes on energy infrastructure within Russia itself and in the regions it has occupied.

"We emphasize that the Defense Forces of Ukraine strictly adhere to the agreements reached with our partners regarding the cessation of strikes on energy facilities. Fire damage is inflicted exclusively on the military targets of the Russian occupying army," adds the Ukrainian General Staf

At the same time, Ukraine has recorded specific cases of violations of the agreements by Russian forces. In just the last day, Russian attacks caused damage to energy facilities in the Kherson and the Poltava region. In this regard, Kyiv expects an appropriate response from its partners.

"Daily false claims and disinformation spread by the Russian Ministry of Defense aim to discredit Ukraine and its diplomatic efforts along with those of its partners. The Russian tactic of prolonging the war remains unchanged," writes the General Staff.

'Energy truce'

Recently, Ukraine, the United States of America, and Russia reached an agreement to develop mechanisms for implementing a deal that prohibits attacks on energy infrastructure both within Ukraine and in Russia.

As part of these agreements, the Ukrainian side provided the United States with a list of energy facilities that the Russian army must not strike.

However, despite daily attacks by the aggressor country, which launches more than a hundred drones at Ukraine every night, on March 26, the enemy accused Kyiv of allegedly violating the agreements. The next day, Russia repeated its accusations, but the General Staff categorically denied any violations by the Ukrainian side.

Meanwhile, the press secretary of Russia's dictator, Dmitry Peskov, threatened his country has the right to withdraw from the "energy truce."
