Russia has the right to withdraw from the “energy truce” if Ukraine allegedly fails to comply with the moratorium, reports Russian news agency Interfax.

According to the spokesman of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov, Russian troops are allegedly fulfilling an order from Vladimir Putin not to strike at Ukraine's energy infrastructure, even though they “repel similar attacks by Kyiv every day.”

“The Russian side has the right, of course, not to comply with this moratorium if Ukraine does not comply with it,” he said.

'Energy truce'

Ukraine, the United States, and Russia agreed to develop measures to implement an agreement banning strikes on Ukrainian and Russian energy facilities.

Kyiv handed over a list of energy facilities that Russia should not strike.

Even though Russia launches more than a hundred drones against Ukraine every night, on March 26, Moscow accused Ukraine of allegedly violating the agreements. The enemy accused Kyiv also the next day, but the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied any violations.
