The concentration of enemy unmanned strike systems on the front is growing, and the "kill zone" has expanded to 20 km, said the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
Today, Syrskyi held a meeting on the operational resolution of problematic issues in military medicine and on improving the medical support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The concentration of enemy unmanned strike systems is increasing, and the kill zone has expanded to 20 km. Medical evacuation of the wounded from the battlefield in the conditions of modern war constantly faces new challenges that we must respond to promptly and effectively," Syrskyi said.
According to him, one of the solutions is the wider use of unmanned ground vehicles (UGV) to evacuate the wounded from positions.
The Commander-in-Chief gave the necessary orders to deliver new ground drones to the troops and to comprehensively support the development of advanced evacuation by unmanned robotic complexes.
"There must be more of them, they must be more reliable. UGVs help our soldiers defeat Russia, defeat death," Syrskyi emphasized.
The meeting also focused specifically on improving targeted medical evacuation for the seriously wounded.
"I supported the proposal to involve appropriate military helicopters for targeted evacuation, equipping them with the necessary medical equipment," the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces added.
Other tasks discussed at the meeting included assistance to wounded soldiers, as well as improving the work of medical posts and stabilization points, and increasing their security.
Syrskyi ordered reinforcements for brigades on the most difficult frontline directions
Recently, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi instructed that brigades fighting on the most difficult frontline directions be provided with everything necessary, including reserves, additional ammunition, UAVs, and special equipment.
According to Syrskyi, the main efforts are focused on building a stable, reliable defense, improving the quality of troop coordination, assisting commanders in organizing combat, and restoring the combat capability of military units.
