Ukraine's Foreign Ministry supports Trump's plan to end Gaza war

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry welcomed the release of a comprehensive plan by US President Donald Trump to end the war in the Gaza Strip, according to the press service of the ministry.
"Ukraine highly values the leadership role of the United States in efforts to restore peace and stability in the Middle East, and maintain international peace and security," the statement reads.
According to the ministry, Ukraine views this plan as an important contribution to the search for a just and lasting settlement, which must be based on the principles of international law and take into account the legitimate rights and aspirations of the people of Israel and Palestine.
"We call on all parties to implement the plan in practice as soon as possible in order to end the war, overcome the humanitarian crisis, and save human lives. We are convinced that the implementation of the plan will help restore security for the entire region, based on respect for international law and the UN Charter," the Foreign Ministry emphasized.
Trump’s plan
On September 29, the White House unveiled President Donald Trump’s peace plan for the Gaza Strip, consisting of 20 points.
The plan envisions Gaza being administered by a non-political Palestinian committee under the oversight of an international body called the Peace Council.
It also proposes the creation of Temporary International Stabilization Forces to provide security in the enclave.
In addition, some Hamas fighters who agree to peaceful coexistence and disarmament may be granted amnesty.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to the plan.
On September 30, Trump said the US is giving Hamas militants three to four days to respond to the peace proposal for Gaza. If there is no response, the terrorists will face a "very sad end".
