Trump sets 3-4 day deadline for Hamas to respond to Gaza peace plan

The United States is giving Hamas militants "three to four days" to respond to the peace plan for the Gaza Strip. If there is no response, the terrorists will face a "very sad end," said US President Donald Trump, according to CNN.
"We're going to do about three or four days (for Hamas to respond – ed.). We'll see how it is. All of the Arab countries are signed up. The Muslim countries are all signed up. Israel is all signed up," Trump emphasized.
According to the US leader, he is simply waiting for the militants' response.
"And Hamas is either going to be doing it or not, and if it's not, it's going to be a very sad end," he added.
US plan for the Gaza Strip
On September 29, the White House unveiled President Donald Trump's peace plan for the Gaza Strip, which comprises 20 points.
The plan envisions the Gaza Strip being governed by an apolitical Palestinian committee under the supervision of an international body called the Peace Council.
Temporary International Stabilization Forces (ISF) would be established to ensure security in the Palestinian enclave.
An amnesty is also possible for some Hamas militants who agree to peaceful coexistence and disarmament.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to the plan.
