The new massive enemy attack demonstrates that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin does not want peace. He must be forced into peace through strength.

Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, made such a statement on his official X account.

Sybiha commented on today's Russian missile and drone attack targeting Ukraine's energy system, which caused power outages across the country.

"Putin does not want peace. We must force him into peace through strength," Ukraine's Foreign Minister stated.

Sybiha also emphasized the need for strengthening the Ukrainian air shield, the Armed Forces's long-range capabilities, and sanctions on the Russian war machine.

Russian attack on Ukraine

On Thursday, November 28, Russia launched a new massive air strike on Ukraine. Russian forces fired 91 missiles of various types and launched 97 drones. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 79 missiles and 35 drones. In addition, 62 enemy drones were lost locally.

Russia has already carried out eleven attacks on Ukraine's energy system since the beginning of 2024. Due to the massive shelling, emergency power outages were introduced across Ukraine.

Energy infrastructure facilities in the Lviv, Volyn, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Kyiv regions were targeted. The attack resulted in casualties among civilians.
