Trump nominates candidate for Secretary of State

Yesterday, November 13, Donald Trump officially nominated Marco Rubio as the new US Secretary of State.

According to Western media, Rubio is considered one of Trump’s most hardline candidates for the position, particularly advocating for a tough stance against China, Iran, and Cuba.

Rubio has noted that Ukraine should seek opportunities for a peaceful resolution to the war with Russia, rather than attempting to reclaim all its territories. He also voted against an additional $61 billion in aid for Ukraine.
