Ukraine has received 420 high-precision HLR 338 sniper rifles in the latest military aid package from Germany. This weapon was officially introduced in 2023, according to the website of the German federal government.

Along with the rifles, Ukraine received 314,000 rounds of ammunition for them. It is noted that this weapon is designed for high-precision targeting at long distances.

The manufacturer describes this weapon as a new rifle that combines long-range capabilities with a modular concept and a significant reduction in weight compared to the RS from CG Haenel.
