Ukraine prepares for high-level ally talks in coming weeks - Zelenskyy

Preparation is underway for new contacts with partner countries, which will take place in the coming weeks, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his evening address.
As Zelenskyy said, today he held a meeting with the diplomatic team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the President's Office.
"We are preparing new contacts with the leaders of partner countries. We expect the coming weeks to be very active," the president noted.
Assistance to Ukraine from allies
At the beginning of August, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced certain steps to additionally mobilize partners.
He separately highlighted agreements with the Netherlands, which is one of the leaders in supporting Ukraine in Europe.
"And we are preparing more things that will strengthen us. In particular, this concerns drones," the president added.
Recently it became known that Canada will provide Ukraine with weapons worth $1 billion. The package will include the transfer of drones, shells, and armored vehicles.
In addition, Germany will annually provide Ukraine with €9 billion over the coming years.
