What was discussed at the meeting

During the meeting, the parties discussed strategic issues related to the activities of JATEC and the implementation of previous organizational tasks. Specific attention was given to:

  • the partners’ joining the work of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Center;
  • building the resilience of information systems;
  • supporting the direction of education and training;
  • interoperability;
  • cooperation in developing solutions to address challenges on the battlefield.

"Undoubtedly, the ultimate goal of any project is peace and strong security for Ukraine. Both Ukraine and NATO are interested in the development of JATEC. The results of the Joint Center’s work are useful for both sides," emphasized Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Sergiy Boev.

Earlier, we reported that NATO is coordinating military assistance to Ukraine from partner countries.

Notably, in January of this year, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Olha Stefanishyna, mentioned that NATO and Ukraine had formed a plan for the work of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Center for Analysis, Training, and Education (JATEC).
