Currently, Ukraine is a key source of Europe's strength and its main center of resilience, said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha at the opening of Ukraine House in Munich, organized by Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

Sybiha noted that we are living in a new era. Outsourcing security for Europe has ended.

"It is time to build inner strength. And this is only possible with Ukraine as an integral part of the new European security architecture. We have enough of our own strength. We only need to admit it — and Ukraine is a key source of that real European strength," he stressed.

The minister said that so-called Points of Invincibility have been created throughout Ukraine. These are resilience centers where people receive warmth, strength, and support when Russia tries to destroy life.

"I want this Ukraine House to be a Point of Invincibility for the Munich Security Conference. A hub for clear thinking, solidarity, and action. A place of information, where you can find your true inner strength. Today, Ukraine is Europe's Point of Invincibility – its main resilience hub," Sybiha said.

The idea of a united European force

Earlier, European countries planned to create a new military alliance as a counterweight to NATO, which could also include Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the idea of creating the Armed Forces of Europe belongs to Ukraine and was proposed to partners as an element of strengthening the security of the continent. It concerns an army of at least 3 million troops.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine could become the foundation of the united forces of Europe, but only after a war with Russia. Because now there is no time for this, as the main focus is on the front line.

At the same time, EU High Representative Kaja Kallas rejected Zelenskyy's idea of creating a joint army of Europe. In her opinion, parallel structures would only interfere with the effective work of already existing armies and NATO.
