Ukraine has significantly intensified its strikes on Russia this summer using domestically produced Flamingo cruise missiles. The number of attacks has nearly doubled over the past six months, according to Russian media.
Russian media, analyzing data from the Russian Ministry of Defense, concluded that Ukraine has significantly increased the number of Flamingo missile strikes since February of this year.
According to the Agency, since June, the Russian Defense Ministry has claimed to have destroyed at least 57 missiles of this type. For comparison, from February to May, the ministry reported 31 intercepted Flamingos.
In the last two weeks alone, the Russian side has claimed at least 25 missiles shot down. At least four confirmed Flamingo strikes were recorded during the summer. Among the targets were enterprises of Russia's military-industrial complex.
