Ukraine downs ballistic missiles, Kalibrs and 187 drones overnight

On the night of September 1, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine with various types of missiles and hundreds of drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
What Russia attacked with
According to the Air Force, on the night of September 1 (starting at 6:00 p.m. on August 31), Russia attacked Ukraine with several types of weapons at once.
The following were recorded:

Iskander-M, KN-23, and S-400 ballistic missiles, as well as Zircon anti-ship missiles, launched from the Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, and Rostov regions;

Sea-launched Kalibr cruise missiles from the Novorossiysk area;

Kh-31P anti-radiation missiles from airspace over the Black Sea;

S8000 Banderol missiles from the Bryansk region and over the Sea of Azov;

218 Shahed-type attack drones, nearly a third of them jet-powered, as well as Parodiya decoy drones, launched from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as from the temporarily occupied Donetsk region and Crimea.
The Odesa and Kyiv regions were the main targets of the attack.
How many targets air defense shot down
As of 8:30 a.m., air defense forces had shot down or suppressed 199 targets:

5 Iskander-M, KN-23, and S-400 ballistic missiles;

2 S8000 Banderol missiles;
-
5 Kalibr cruise missiles;
-
187 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones.
Missiles and drones struck 28 locations, while debris from downed targets fell at another 10 locations.
Some Russian missiles did not reach their targets.
The attack is ongoing, and Russian drones remain in Ukrainian airspace.
What is known about the aftermath in Kyiv and the region
Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and the Odesa region were hit hardest by the overnight attack.
During the night, Russian forces deliberately struck a railway depot in Kyiv and other Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukraine's state-owned railway company) facilities with ballistic missiles.
Seven people were killed, six of them company employees, while another employee was hospitalized.
Meanwhile, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service, the aftermath of the attack on the capital was recorded in five districts.
Eight Kyiv residents were killed, and seven others were injured, including three children.
Missiles and drones also struck Boryspil and the Odesa region.
Four people were killed in Boryspil, while civilian infrastructure was damaged in the Odesa region.
