Ukraine develops long-range missiles, tests were successful - Zelenskyy

Ukraine is actively developing long-range weapons, with the latest tests proving successful. The next step will be launching production, says Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a video briefing with European Council President António Costa.
“Ukrainian experts are advancing long-range capabilities. Much has already been developed and tested. The tests were successful. Some of this information is public, some less so. We are indeed facing a major financial challenge. Funding is still insufficient, but we are working on it,” Zelenskyy said.
According to Ukraine’s President, long-range weapons are a key security guarantee for Ukraine, and joint production with international partners is now actively expanding.
“The first such production line is being launched in Denmark, and similar facilities will open in other European countries,” Zelensky added.
Ukraine develops its own missiles
As previously reported, Ukraine has begun serial production of the Flamingo cruise missiles with a range of up to 3,000 kilometers.
On August 31, the media revealed that one of these missiles struck enemy targets in temporarily occupied Crimea, particularly a Russian border guard base.
Furthermore, the Ukrainian company Fire Point would, for the first time, manufacture missile fuel abroad. The same company developed the Flamingo missiles.
