Ukraine's Defense Forces have officially confirmed successful strikes on Russia's Vladimir Space Communications Center and the Orenburg gas processing plant, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Destruction of the space communications center
According to the military, analysis of the available data has confirmed the results of a strike carried out by Ukraine's Defense Forces during the night of June 22.
The target was the Vladimir Space Communications Center, located near the town of Gus-Khrustalny in Russia's Vladimir region.
The facility sustained extensive damage, including critical destruction of the complex's main 25-meter parabolic antenna. An antenna located on the roof of the Main Hardware and Software Complex was also damaged.
The central section of the Main Hardware and Software Complex building suffered significant damage, which contains satellite modem halls, multiplexers, and the central switching node.
The Hardware and Technical Building No. 1 was also critically damaged. It contained transmission and reception complexes, as well as equipment used to cool the electronics of the main antenna.
Orenburg gas processing plant shuts down
In addition to the space communications center, another key facility deep inside Russia was hit. Following an attack on June 24, 2026, serious damage at the Orenburg gas processing plant was confirmed.
Four gas processing units were struck. Due to the damage, production at the facility has been completely suspended.
"Ukraine's Defense Forces will continue to systematically carry out measures aimed at stopping the Russian Federation's armed aggression against Ukraine," the General Staff emphasized.
Attack on the Kavkaz port and Dubna center
On June 21 and during the night of June 22, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a number of important targets on Russian territory. Among them was the Dubna Space Communications Center in Russia's Moscow region, where heavy smoke was observed following the explosions.
At the time, the military reported that Ukraine's Defense Forces had struck a space communications center near Moscow and Russian logistics infrastructure, including facilities at the Kavkaz port in Russia's Krasnodar region and two vehicle ferries that supported Russian forces in southern Ukraine.
A subsequent assessment of the damage to the military facility in the Moscow region was later conducted. As a result, the General Staff updated the strike results, confirming significant damage to the Main Production and Administrative Building and the 32-meter MARK-IV antenna at the space communications center near Moscow.
