On the night of January 26, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck infrastructure at an oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban (Krasnodar Krai, Russia). In addition, many other Russian targets were hit, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The annual potential processing capacity of this enterprise exceeds 4 million tons of oil. This plant is part of the Russian energy sector and is involved in supplying the Russian armed forces.

"Drone strikes on the plant's territory and explosions in the target area have been recorded. According to preliminary information, elements of the primary oil processing facility were hit," the statement says.

Ukrainian Defense Forces also struck the logistics warehouses of Russian units in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk city and Zaporizhzhia (Solodkovodne village) regions.

In addition, strikes were carried out on the drone control point of the unit in the area of Velyka Novosilka (temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region) and on concentrations of Russian forces in the areas of Yunakivka (temporarily occupied territory of Sumy region) and Kolisnykivka (temporarily occupied territory of Kharkiv region). The number of Russian troops killed and wounded is being clarified.

Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to take measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian troops and force Russia to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine.

Attacks on oil refineries in Krasnodar region

Last night, Russia complained of an attack by unknown drones on the Krasnodar region. Explosions were heard in the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban, after which residents observed the glow of a fire.

The authorities acknowledged the attack and reported that debris had fallen on the territory of two enterprises, causing fires at both facilities.

This is not the first case of such attacks.

Earlier, on the night of December 17, Slavyansk-on-Kuban was also hit by drones. At that time, an oil refinery was threatened, where a fire broke out after an explosion.

On the night of January 10 last year, explosions also rocked Slavyansk-on-Kuban. This happened against the backdrop of the threat of drone and missile attacks.

Another attack on the oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban took place on March 17. Explosions were heard there too, and a fire broke out.
