Slavyansk-on-Kuban in Russia struck: Refinery ablaze, plant damaged

On the night of January 26, unidentified drones attacked Slavyansk-on-Kuban in Russia. As a result of the attack, an oil refinery caught fire, and another facility was also targeted, according to Russian and monitoring Telegram channels.
Earlier that night, reports had already indicated that Krasnodar Krai was under attack by unknown drones. Social media posts specifically mentioned an attack on Slavyansk-na-Kubani, targeting the local oil refinery.
By the morning, the Krasnodar Krai Operational Headquarters confirmed the attack on the oil refinery and another facility, resulting in fires at both sites.
“Fragments of the UAVs fell on the territory of two facilities… Fires also broke out at the sites, which are being extinguished by the relevant emergency services,” the report says.
At the same time, followers of monitoring channels note that the local oil refinery is on fire. Which other facility was attacked is still unknown.
Meanwhile, new footage has appeared on social media showing that gunfire could be heard during the attack in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, likely from air defense operations.

Attacks on Russia
On the night of December 17, Slavyansk-on-Kuban was also attacked by drones. Russians reported hearing explosions in the city, and the oil refinery was targeted, resulting in a fire at the facility.
We also reported that explosions were again heard in Slavyansk-on-Kuban on the night of January 10. This occurred amid warnings of drone and missile threats, and locals suspected that the oil refinery could have been the target.
