Ukraine confirms strike on one of southern Russia's largest oil refineries

Strike on the Afipsky oil refinery
The Afipsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar region was attacked. According to available information, the facility was hit, and a fire broke out on its premises.
The Afipsky refinery is considered one of the largest oil-processing facilities in southern Russia, with an annual capacity of approximately 6.25 million tons of crude oil. It produces diesel fuel, gasoline, and fuel oil, which are used, among other purposes, to support military logistics.
Strikes on targets in Crimea
In temporarily occupied Crimea, a facility in Sevastopol linked to the production and outfitting of uncrewed surface vessels was struck.
The site was used for assembling and preparing platforms deployed in the Black Sea.
A drone storage facility near the settlement of Hryhorivka was also hit.
Strikes on command posts and drone control centers
The General Staff reported strikes on Russian military command posts in the areas of Davydovske, Novoznamianka, Bakhmut, Selydove, and Pokrovsk in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
A separate strike targeted a drone control center near Novoandriivka in the Donetsk region, as well as an area where drone units were concentrated near Dovzhansk in the Luhansk region.
In addition, a workshop used for the production and repair of drones was struck near Avdiivka.
Earlier, the Ukrainian military reported significant damage to three major oil facilities in Russia following strikes carried out on June 8. In particular, a fire was confirmed in two oil storage tanks at the Grushovaya transshipment oil depot near Grushovaya Balka in Russia’s Krasnodar region.
