The United States is proposing that Ukraine and Russia freeze the war as part of its peace plan. The document mentions Crimea and the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

The outlet obtained the full content of US President Donald Trump's peace plan, which US special envoy Steve Witkoff presented during talks with Ukraine, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom in Paris on April 17.

Ukraine and the European Union have shared their ideas with the US on how to end the war with Russia. This was their response to US President Donald Trump's peace plan.

The joint peace plan between Ukraine and Europe contains four points: a ceasefire, security guarantees for Ukraine, territorial issues, and the economy.

Kremlin reveals details of Putin’s meeting with Witkoff

US President’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting on Friday, April 25. Their conversation lasted about three hours, stated Putin’s aide Yury Ushakov, according to RIA Novosti.

According to Ushakov, the meeting between Witkoff and Putin took place in the Kremlin. They had a three-hour discussion that he described as "constructive and very useful."

"This conversation helped bring Russian and US positions closer not only on Ukraine but also on a number of other international issues," Ushakov stated.

Three-week delay: Trump demands Zelenskyy sign minerals deal immediately

US President Donald Trump stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy must immediately sign the minerals deal.

"Ukraine, headed by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has not signed the final papers on the very important rare earths deal with the United States on rare earth metals. It is at least three weeks late. Hopefully it will be signed immediately," Trump wrote.

At the same time, he traditionally stated that work on a joint peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine "is going smoothly."

Top Russian general killed in car explosion near Moscow

Near Moscow, in Balashikha, unknown persons blew up a car. A high-ranking general from the Russian General Staff was killed.

The explosion occurred at about 10:40 a.m. when the military man was walking past a Volkswagen Golf parked near his house.

Judging by the photos from the site, the IED was stuffed with impressive elements. In addition, the improvised explosive device in the car that blew up in Balashikha was preliminarily believed to have consisted of VOGs, or under-barrel grenade launchers.
