At a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Kuleba announced that Ukraine and Denmark would host a Defense Industries Forum.
"Denmark has serious potential in drone production. We have agreed that the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministries of Defense and the Ministry of Strategic Industries, will organize a Ukrainian-Danish Defense Industries Forum. We will place a special focus on developing joint projects in drone production, taking into account Denmark's unique capabilities in this field," the minister added.
Defense Industries Forum in Ukraine
The First International Defense Industries Forum took place in Ukraine in the fall.
The Forum brought together tank manufacturers, artillery producers, drone makers, ammunition developers, innovators in software, and owners of unique complex technologies from partner countries. Ukrainian state and private enterprises from the defense-industrial complex also participated.
During the forum, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the creation of a defense industry alliance and a special fund in the defense sector. It would be filled with funds from Russian assets and dividends from state defense assets.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 38 defense companies from 19 countries have joined the alliance.
