38 companies from 19 countries have already joined the defense alliance Ukraine launched. Ukrainian companies have signed 20 documents with foreign partners, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On September 29, the first International Defense Industries Forum took place in Kyiv.

During the forum, Ukrainian companies signed 20 documents with foreign partners. These agreements and memorandums cover the production of drones, the repair and manufacture of armored vehicles and ammunition. Among the cooperation formats are joint production, technology exchange, and the supply of components.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also announced that 38 companies from 19 countries had joined the defense industry alliance.

Defense Industries Forum

The first International Defense Industries Forum (DFNC1) in Kyiv brought together 252 companies from over 30 countries. The event was organized by the Ministry of Strategic Industries, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The forum was participated by tank manufacturers, artillery producers, drone manufacturers, ammunition makers, developers of innovative software, and owners of unique advanced technologies from partner states. Ukrainian state-owned and private defense industry enterprises also participated.

During the forum, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the creation of a defense industry alliance, with 13 companies already joining. Ukraine will also establish a special defense fund using funds from Russian assets and dividends from state defense assets.
