Sunak is expected to sign a security cooperation agreement with Zelenskyy. It provides for intelligence sharing, cybersecurity, medical and military training, and defense-industrial cooperation.
UK assistance
It is worth noting that the United Kingdom was one of the first countries to support Ukraine at the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. London provided military, financial, and humanitarian support. In particular, it has provided Ukraine with Challenger 2 tanks, long-range Storm Shadow missiles, and training for Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets.
In addition, the UK supports Ukraine's membership in NATO and actively criticizes the Kremlin regime in public.
In May 2023, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the UK, where he held a series of meetings. In particular, with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Zelenskyy's visit to Baltic States
On January 10, Volodymyr Zelenskyy went on a visit to the Baltic States. First, he visited Lithuania, then Estonia and Latvia. The President held talks with his colleagues, and Prime Ministers, and signed bilateral agreements.
