Assistance to Ukraine from Britain
Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, the United Kingdom has consistently supported Ukraine. Among other things, they were the first to announce the transfer of modern Western tanks and long-range missiles to our military.
Additionally, Britain has taken the lead in training Ukrainian pilots on Western fighter aircraft. James Heappey, the Deputy Minister of Defence, noted that the training, during which they plan to train 20 Ukrainian military personnel, will commence in August.
