UK Defense Secretary records address from Kyiv center: 'I’m in Kyiv to raise the alarm'
UK Defense Secretary Grant Shapps records an address from the center of Kyiv. He says that the democratic world must make sure that Ukraine wins the war.
"I’m in Kyiv to raise the alarm to the democratic world - we must make sure Ukraine wins this war," he says.
According to him, the UK has done more than ever, providing the largest military support package to date.
"Every nation must now do the same and ensure freedom triumphs over tyranny," the Defense Secretary adds.

Shapps' visit to Ukraine
On Thursday, March 7, UK Secretary of State for Defense Grant Shapps arrived in Ukraine. He met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Shapps also met with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
In addition, Shapps announced a new military aid package for Ukraine. The UK has allocated an additional 125 million pounds ($160 million) to purchase over 10,000 drones.
