UK and Germany reportedly developing secret long-range missile

The United Kingdom and Germany have joined forces under a new secret project to develop long-range missiles that would help defend Europe in the event of a war with Russia, The Telegraph reports.
According to journalists, work on the weapon is being carried out under the secret Deep Precision Strike program.
London and Berlin intend to create a DPS missile with a range of 2,000 km. They plan to complete all work by 2034.
According to preliminary information, the weapon could be used to destroy enemy supply lines in the event of a war with Russia.
According to defense industry sources, the project will likely be based on a combination of German funding and British expertise in weapons development.
Two versions of the DPS missile are currently being considered:

A low-flying cruise missile capable of flying below the range of Russian air defense systems;

A hypersonic missile that would travel at least five times faster than the speed of sound.
London believes the project is progressing at a good pace and could become a symbol of Europe's gradual reduction of its dependence on US military support.
At the same time, both countries believe development needs to be accelerated, as the current schedule envisages completing the project only in eight years.
Separately, Ukraine has developed the Pegas UGV, which is capable of crossing swamps. Ukrainian troops also recently demonstrated the Barracuda in operation for the first time.
In addition, Ukraine's Ministry of Defense has codified and approved for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine the Zmiy Mini Strike reconnaissance and strike UGV, equipped with a grenade launcher.
