The UAE Ministry of Defense described Iran's actions as a "blatant attack". According to the ministry, air defense systems operated with high efficiency, intercepting multiple targets.

However, debris from one of the missiles fell in a residential area of Abu Dhabi. Local authorities confirmed that this caused property damage and the death of a foreign national of Asian origin.

UAE response and security measures

The Ministry of Defense stressed that the strike constitutes a serious violation of national sovereignty and international law. The Emirates reserve the full right to respond.

"This targeting is a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and international law, and that the UAE reserves its full right to respond to this escalation and take all necessary measures to protect its territory, its people, and its residents," the ministry stated.

Authorities also urged the public to rely only on official sources of information and to avoid spreading rumors.

Israeli and US strikes on Iran

Today, the situation in the Middle East escalated into open conflict. Following Israel's preemptive strike on Iran, Tehran launched a large-scale missile barrage targeting not only Israeli cities but also other countries in the region.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that Israel’s operation against Iran was being carried out with US participation. According to him, the decision to launch the operation was driven by the need to eliminate "imminent threats" from Iran.
