UAE Presidential Advisor Anwar Gargash has called on Iran to pay compensation for the damage caused to the country by Tehran's strikes, CNN reports.

The statement came after Iran previously demanded compensation from the United States and Israel for military damage caused by the conflict, which has now lasted 30 days.

"Any political solution addressing Iran's aggression against the Gulf Arab states must include clear guarantees to prevent future attacks, enshrine the principle of non-aggression, and incorporate Iranian compensation for the targeting of civilian populations and vital civilian infrastructure," Gargash wrote on social media.

He also said that Tehran "misled" its neighbors before the war and demonstrated "premeditated aggression."

The UAE presidential advisor described Iran as a regime that has become "the primary threat to Gulf Arab security."

Middle East war

According to the WSJ, US President Donald Trump recently told his aides that he wants to avoid a protracted war in Iran and hopes to end the conflict in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, the United States recently deployed an amphibious ship carrying 3,500 Marines to the Middle East, and media reports say the Pentagon is considering sending an additional 10,000 troops. The Washington Post reported that the United States is preparing for possible ground operations in Iran that could last several weeks.

In addition, on March 28, US Vice President JD Vance said the operation against Iran will continue a little longer to neutralize Tehran for the long term.

Also, the Financial Times, citing experts, reported that Iran has significantly reduced the intensity of missile and drone attacks, shifting to a survival strategy.
