Iran's strike on the Iraqi city of Erbil
Yesterday, late in the evening on January 15, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran launched a series of attacks on the city of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region in Iraq. The strikes targeted eight locations near the U.S. Consulate. The Erbil airport ceased operations shortly after a very severe bombardment. The attack resulted in the death of at least four people in the city of Erbil.
It was later revealed that during the Iranian attack on the city of Erbil in Iraq, Kurdish businessman Peshrav Zeya and several members of his family were killed. Zeya owned several major companies, including Empire and Falcon Group.
