In Italy, a train accident occurred, resulting in reported injuries and a disruption of train services, according to Corriere di Bologna .

On Sunday evening, two trains collided on the Bologna-Rimini railway line. At least 17 people were injured, but their lives are not in danger.

"Fortunately, everyone is okay among the injured, and no one suffered serious consequences; the impact was relatively 'weak'," said the mayor of Faenza, Massimo Izola.

Rescue teams have arrived at the scene. While the trains are damaged, they have not derailed. Railway traffic in this section has been disrupted.

"Medical assistance was provided on-site to 16 injured individuals, and one passenger was taken to the hospital for further examination. The train conductors were unharmed," stated Izola.
