On board the Turkish military transport plane C-130, which crashed in Georgia on November 11, were 20 crew members and passengers, Milliyet reports.

"Twenty people, including the crew, were on board our plane that crashed. Search and rescue operations are ongoing," the Turkish Ministry of National Defense said.

The ministry noted that the search and rescue operations are being conducted in coordination with Georgia.

The cause of the crash will be determined after a detailed inspection of the wreckage by an investigative team.

"Our search and rescue operations continue in coordination with Georgian national services," confirmed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said he spoke by phone with his Georgian counterpart, Gela Geladze, who flew to the crash site.

Erdoğan also spoke with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to discuss search and rescue efforts at the crash location.
