Trump and Zelenskyy to meet at G7 summit – Axios

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his American counterpart, Donald Trump, will meet during the G7 summit. The last time they met was during Pope Francis' funeral in April, according to Axios.

On April 15, an unnamed White House official said that Trump would meet with Zelenskyy, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum during the G7 summit.

Russia hands over bodies of 1,245 more fallen defenders to Ukraine

Another batch of 1,245 more soldiers killed in battle were returned to Ukraine, which, according to the Russian side, belong to Ukrainian citizens, including military personnel, Ukrainian Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reports.

This was the final stage of the repatriation agreements reached in Istanbul. In total, 6,057 bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers were returned to Ukraine under this agreement.

NATO to hold Ukraine Council meeting during The Hague summit

The North Atlantic Alliance has published the agenda for the summit, which will take place on 24-25 June in The Hague. Notably, a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council is scheduled, according to NATO's press service.

According to the program, on the evening of 24 June, a working dinner of the Ukraine-NATO Council at the level of foreign ministers is scheduled, chaired by the Alliance's Deputy Secretary General.

This is the only public event involving a non-NATO country mentioned in the program.

Canada to announce new aid package for Ukraine at G7 summit – Media

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney will announce a new package of military aid to Ukraine at the G7 summit on Tuesday, June 17, CBC News reports.

The Canadian government has already allocated 2 billion Canadian dollars (about 1.5 billion US dollars) for military aid to Ukraine and the expansion of defense partnerships.
