Trump unveils major partnership with China: What they agreed on

US President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that an agreement had been reached with China on large-scale economic cooperation.
"I was extremely honored by the fact that President Xi authorized China to begin the purchase of massive amounts of soybeans, sorghum, and other farm products. Our farmers will be very happy!" Trump said.
In addition, according to him, China has agreed to continue the flow of rare earth elements, critical minerals, and magnets openly and freely.
"Very significantly, China has strongly stated that they will work diligently with us to stop the flow of fentanyl into our country. They will help us end the fentanyl crisis," the US leader added.
He also noted that China has agreed to begin the process of purchasing American energy.
"In fact, a very large scale transaction may take place concerning the purchase of oil and gas from the great State of Alaska," Trump said.
Trump and Xi Jinping meeting
On October 30, Trump and Xi met in South Korea. During the conversation, the parties discussed easing tensions between the countries, as well as ending the war in Ukraine.
Earlier, Xi Jinping praised Trump before the summit, noting his contribution to ending the war in Gaza. The Chinese leader also proposed joining forces to resolve global conflicts.
According to Trump, China will join Washington's efforts to end the war in Ukraine.
