Trump to sign 'bone-crushing' sanctions bill against Russia today, media reports

According to him, the US president will sign the sanctions bill targeting Russia today at 4:30 p.m. local time.

Earlier, on August 7, the US Senate approved the "bone-crushing" sanctions against Russia and Iran, with 86 senators voting for Lindsey Graham's bill and 11 voting against it.

After that, the US House of Representatives gave final approval to the sanctions bill targeting Russia and Iran. The final vote was 252-154.

RBC-Ukraine also reported that a White House official confirmed that Donald Trump planned to sign the bill on sanctions against Russia.

Meanwhile, China said the sanctions against Russia approved by the US Congress have no legal basis and violate international law.
