White House officials revealed that the speech, titled The Renewal of the American Dream, will be divided into four main sections:
- Achievements of Trump’s second term both domestically and internationally;
- What the Trump administration has done for the economy;
- Requests for Congress to approve additional funding for border security;
- The President’s plans for establishing global peace.
Sources for Fox News shared that Trump will discuss "accomplishments from his extraordinarily successful first month in office, both here at home and abroad."
Additionally, he will call on Congress to take further steps to ensure border security funding to fund deportations and continue building the border wall along the southern US border.
One source added that Trump will outline his plans for ending the war in Ukraine in his speech. He will also focus on his administration’s efforts to free all hostages held by Hamas militants.
Trump’s address is scheduled for 4 a.m. Kyiv time tomorrow.
Trump’s plan to end the war
Earlier, the media reported that the US Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, was expected to present a plan for ending Russia's war against Ukraine during his participation in the Munich Security Conference, held from February 14 to 16.
However, Kellogg later emphasized that he would not present the plan, as it should be done by Trump himself.
Notably, US President Donald Trump has recently increased pressure on Ukraine. On March 4, it was revealed that he had halted military aid to Ukrainian forces.
