Trump to bring his negotiators to meeting with Zelenskyy - Media

US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet in New York on the evening of September 22. It has become known which other US officials will attend the talks, according to a statement by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty journalist Alex Raufoglu.
Trump invited his envoys
According to the journalist, sources told him that US special envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff will attend the meeting between Trump and Zelenskyy.
The following officials will also join the meeting:
- Secretary of State Marco Rubio,
- Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
The meeting will take place on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York at 8:15 p.m. Kyiv time.
Zelenskyy-Trump meeting
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Rubio revealed details of the upcoming talks between Trump and Zelenskyy. According to him, the leaders will discuss, among other things, the terms of an energy ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia.
Political analyst Oleksandr Leonov says that the very fact of the meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump is a positive development, as just a few days ago it had not been confirmed.
In addition, RBC-Ukraine sources say that the main focus of the meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his US counterpart Donald Trump will be energy de-escalation.
