As of 9:30 a.m. Kyiv time, the US president was on the phone with NATO leaders. Trump's disembarkation from the plane was delayed as he was finishing the call.
Axios journalist Barak Ravid wrote on X that Donald Trump's phone conversation with Zelenskyy and European allies lasted more than 1.5 hours.
As reported by the media with reference to the European Commission, besides Zelenskyy, the following took part in the conversation:
- President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen,
- President of France Emmanuel Macron,
- Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz,
- President of Finland Alexander Stubb,
