Trump speaks out on Patriots for Ukraine, says Zelenskyy and Putin agree

The issue of granting Ukraine licenses to produce missiles for Patriot systems was discussed not only with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy but also with Russian President Vladimir Putin, US leader Donald Trump said.
Members of the media asked the White House chief whether he had had a chance to discuss Patriot missiles with Zelenskyy.
Trump said the issue was a major focus of their discussion. The US president noted that they spent a considerable amount of time discussing it.
The American leader also said that he had discussed the missiles with the Kremlin head.
"I spoke to him (Zelenskyy - ed.) a lot. And he is going along, and Putin is going along. Some day, hopefully, in the not too distant future, maybe before the heavy winter, they'll make a deal," Trump said.

The White House chief has not yet disclosed any details of talks regarding Patriot missiles.
Ukraine to receive Patriot licenses
On September 25, Volodymyr Zelenskyy officially confirmed that Ukraine will receive licenses to produce missiles for Patriot air defense systems.
The head of state said Donald Trump has made a final decision.
Zelenskyy made it clear that this time the issue involves specific agreements between Kyiv and Washington.
According to him, at their latest meeting, Trump emphasized that he had made the final decision and that Ukraine would receive licenses to produce Patriot missiles.
