Trump may meet with Zelenskyy in Washington

US President Donald Trump can meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The talks are likely to take place in Washington.

"I will probably be meeting with President Zelenskyy next week," Trump stated.

He also answered questions about where the meeting could take place.

Trump replied it "could be Washington - well, I'm not going there" (to Kyiv - ed.).

Trump also stated that he would likely speak with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin, but there are no specifics yet.

Zelenskyy confirms Ukrainian advance in Kursk region

Ukrainian defenders have launched a new offensive in the Kursk region and have achieved some success, says Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the agency, the Ukrainian leader confirmed the start of a new Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region on Thursday, February 6.

The president clarified that Ukrainian forces managed to advance 2.5 kilometers into the region.

Russia deploys more North Korean troops in Kursk region - Zelenskyy

The Russian army has once again brought in North Korean soldiers to the Kursk region. New assaults have already taken place in this area, with hundreds of Russian and North Korean troops eliminated.

"There were new assaults in the Kursk operation areas: the Russian army… brought in North Korean soldiers again. A significant number of occupiers were eliminated - hundreds of Russian and North Korean troops," Zelenskyy said.

Ukrainian military denies Russian claim of Toretsk capture

Russian forces claimed to have captured Toretsk, but battles are still ongoing in the city. Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to resist.

Nazar Voloshyn, spokesperson for the operational and strategic grouping of troops Khortytsia, stated that fighting continues in urban areas of Toretsk.
