Trump sets new deadline for Putin on ceasefire
US President Donald Trump has shortened his original 50-day deadline given to Russian leader Vladimir Putin to reach a ceasefire with Ukraine, according to the President's statement to journalists during a bilateral meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
"I’m going to make a new deadline, of about 10, 10 or 12 days from today. There’s no reason for waiting. It was 50 days, I wanted to be generous, but we just don’t see any progress being made," the US President said.
Chaos in Russian airports as hackers claim attack on major airline
On July 28, a major disruption occurred in the operations of Russia's largest airline, Aeroflot, resulting in the cancellation of numerous flights. A group of hackers has claimed responsibility, the Russian news resource Baza reports.
Due to the disruption, at least 49 flights were canceled from Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport. In particular, flights to Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Stavropol, Mineralnye Vody, several flights to Saint Petersburg, as well as to Minsk, Yerevan, and a number of other Russian cities, were canceled.
