US President Donald Trump believes he could resolve the issue with Iran "in 2 seconds," the American leader made this statement during a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
"Oh, you could end these things in two seconds if you wanted to. But we are being very judicious," the American leader added.
He once again criticized US President Joe Biden for #giving military equipment to Ukraine".
At the same time, according to Trump, he rebuilt the American military during his first presidential term.
Trump’s promise of peace in Ukraine
During his election campaign, Donald Trump promised that if he became president, he would be able to end Russia’s war against Ukraine within 24 hours.
He believed that such a result could be achieved after calls with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Trump’s promise was never fulfilled. Last June, he described his bold statement as sarcasm.
The US president also repeatedly claimed that he genuinely considered Russia’s war against Ukraine "the easiest" to resolve. In the end, however, it turned out to be quite the opposite.
Incidentally, Trump previously assured that the US operation against Iran was planned to last four weeks. Almost three weeks have passed since it began. Recently, the American president said that he is not ready to declare victory over Iran.
