Norway is providing 5 billion kroner for the purchase of artillery shells for Ukraine. Part of the funds will be allocated through the Czech initiative, and the rest through the mechanisms of the European Peace Facility, according to the Norwegian government.
“Artillery shells are vital for Ukraine’s fight to liberate itself from Russian occupation. That’s why it is important for Norway to help replenish Ukraine’s ammunition stockpiles,” said Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
